Project Overview

Using a new advertising account for both Facebook and GoogleAds, the main challenge was to train the pixel and collect quality data so thatwe could focus our marketing efforts on campaigns with a higher success rate.

To achieve the desired results, we created a sales funnelthrough which we collected cold traffic, brought people to the site, and thosewho did not act (add to cart or buy) were retargeted with special offers.

To generate cold traffic, we used Facebook Ads, GoogleSearch Ads, and Google Shopping listings.

After gathering enough data for the Facebook pixel, wechanged the broad audiences on which the campaigns were made into look-a-likeaudiences and targeted people with similar interests to previous buyers.

For the retargeting side of things, we used Facebook Pixeland Google Display Ads in combination with Google Analytics to deliver ads topeople who entered the site, added products to the cart, and left the session.

Results

After only 24 hours from the launch of the campaigns, we had the first 10 conversions and the first precise data related to the characteristics of the buyers, which helped us to create look-a-like audiences with an impressive impact.

After we managed to populate the pixel, we launched the first retargeting ads that generated 119 conversions in the next 4 days, the average value per cart being 40-50 euros.
